Camera Image Byte Array
Currently evaluating AR SDKs for a project, some of them have the ability to get byte array access to the camera image. Does Maxst offer this feature? Ideally in Unity. I need to do some custom opencv tracking on top of image tracking. Would love to use Maxst, it's pricing and tracking quality seem great.
The feature you need is included in our SDK for native Android. You can get the access through the image sequence. With the one for Unity, you could say it's not impossible for Android experts but not as easy as with the native Android one. We're sorry that it's difficult for us to let you know how to do that here. MAXST AR SDK is evolving fast and there are many updates to come. The feature you need is also on the list.
Or you can choose the Enterprise License to get an SDK customized for your special use case.
Thanks, I'm gonna keep my eye on this. Here's my vote for features:
- Color and gray byte arrays
- Set custom camera resoutlution (looked like were suck at 720p even on high end devices?)
- Set internal tracking resolution (sometimes i need better tracking, even if it lowers FPS)
Maxst could really seperate itself from other SDKs if it offers more flexibility for the developer.
