The Instant Tracker Unity Example, when I run it in SteamVR, displays left and right headset images so that I get 2 distinct images, not stereo

Please provide your development details as below;

1. SDK Version: MAXSTARSDK_Unity_5.0.3.unityPackage
2. Development Environment: (eg. Unity-Android, Unity-iOS, Native Android, Native iOS): Unity-Windows
3. Tracker/Scanner: Instant Tracker Unity Example
4. License Type(Free / Pro-One Time Fee / Pro-Subscription / Enterprise): Free
5. Target Device(Optional): For now I am just using Unity Editor Play

I am just starting out using Maxst, and I am using this Instant Tracker Unity Example to try Maxst for the first time: https://developer.maxst.com/MD/doc/unity/ex/instant

The example works fine when I just use Unity Editor Play, and view results in the Play window.

However, if I set Player Bild Settings to "Virtual Reality Supported"; when I hit Play, results in the Play window are still fine, but with Unity also displaying to my headset using SteamVR; my headset shows two distinct images in my left and right headset panels (sort of like double vision), and not stereo.

The Maxst water mark displays at the bottom left of both head panels; and the tracked cube displays at the very left of both panels.

Finally, the left headset panel seems to show more of my right eye field of vision, and the right headset panel seems to show more of my left eye field of vision.

Thanks for any help in showing me how to adjust headset image placement so that I get stereo, not "double" vision.

Thanks for your interest in our MAXST AR SDK.

Currently, MAXST AR SDK dosen't support stereo vision.

If you have other questions, feel free to questions us.

Hi Francisco - Thanks for answering so quickly.

I just want to make sure that you understand; when I say that using my headset in SteamVR, Maxst gives me two separate but not stereo images; I mean that the only way I can use Maxst with a headset in SteamVR is to close one eye. While this is not a big problem and I can still learn a lot and have a lot of fun with Maxst, it does seem a little strange.

Regards -

Rick

Sorry to late reply.

We understood your question.

This seems to be a problem caused by

the MAXST AR SDK not officially supporting SteamVR.
