How can I use maxst visual slam with google cardboard head tracking?
How can I use maxst visual slam with google cardboard head tracking? I'm developing an augmented reality headset an I would like to use cardboard head tracking to move menus with the head and use visual slam to know where to fix it in a place
Any solution?
Anyway this is a cool sdk!
Thanks
Bruno
Dear Bruno
It's always nice to hear someone likes our SDK. Thank you.
It sounds like you would like to mount our SDK on the AR headset you're developing with the Cardboard Head Tracking solution, right?
There can be many solutions for the head tracking and there is not much for us to tell you about the Cardboard Head Tracking. When we were designing our own AR headset, Revelio, we used another solution.
Whether our SDK can 'fix' or 'register' virtual content in place on AR headset as it does on mobile devices depends on the capabilities of the headset including the array of sensors. We've tested not only with Vuzix M-300 but with ODG R-7 and Moverio BT-300. The result was not so satisfactory.
Thanks for replaying so fast!
My AR headset uses a mobile phone so it only uses its camera.
If I can't use the cardboard sdk how can I make an interactable ui using yours?
Thanks again!
Bruno
