Unable to integrate with google cardboard in Unity 2017.2
Hi Team,
First off Thanks for this awesome SDK, works like a charm.
I am using MAXST AR 3.2 sdk and trying to integrate with Unity built in cardboard support (XR settings), but when I play it on mobile the screen, it comes up with two small rectangles displaying the camera feed, leaving a lot of the screen empty and black. Could you please help me understand what is missing.
Thanks in advance for your help.
We also have the same trouble but, for now, we can't figure out why. We'll let you know as soon as we find out the cause.
Thank you. I will wait for your response. Meanwhile, could you please give me some direction as to which version of Unity, Cardboard and Maxst AR sdk are tested and working so I can use them for now.
Thanks
It's a pity that we haven't had many experiences testing the Cardboard with our SDK. As for Unity, our SDK is compatible with version 5.6 or above.
We'll start testing with the Cardboard and see if we can include the fix in our next update.
We're glad to let you know we've figured out why and the fix will be included in our next update due, hopefully, in December.
Hey that's really good. Thanks. Meanwhile is it possible for you guide me in achieving VR kind of split screen in the interim, while i wait for the update. It would be really good.
Thanks in advance.
If you're using Unity, check 'Virtual reality supported' and choose Cardboard at Player Settings -> Other Settings.
For Android or iOS native, you have to wait till the update.
Thank you. I did that, but when I run it on phone to check it displays really small. That is the major problem I am facing.
Sorry. There seems to have been a misunderstanding between us. What we meant was the VR split.
We're sorry, for the display split issue to be resolved, you cannot help but wait for the next update.
any update for resolving this issue
Thanks for SDK, its pretty amazing...
But has there been any fix for this issue?
