Invalid Signature

Please provide your development details as below;

1. SDK Version: 4.1 / 4.0.4 / 4.0.3
2. Development Environment: Unity-Android
3. Tracker/Scanner: Image Tracker
4. License Type: Pro-One Time Fee
5. Target Device(Optional):
 

I keep geeting the 'Invalid signature' message whenever I build the app into my device. I have tried changing the SDK version with its respective license directly copied from the license manager. The package name in Unity Editor is the same of the package name at the license manager. I'd appreciate some support, I don't know what else to do.

Hello ivan_murrieta.

When you enter the package name and license key, there may be a blank space at the end.

Also check that the version of the SDK you are using matches the version of the license you have issued.

Hi Leo, thank you for your assistance. I keep getting the same problem whenever I lunch the app to Android device. I have checked and there are no spaces at the end of the license and package name spaces, and the version of SDK matches with the respective license. What else can be done?

Oh Jesus! You must enter com.Company.arvts001 in the App id when you generate the license.

This is because the license key is generated through the package name. Licenses that have already been created can not be modified, and we will take action.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change an already created license.

Please buy one more license. If you need one more license in the future, please send an email to our official account.

Then we will provide additional licenses.

So, these instructions were not provided when buying the license, that's why I won't buy an additional license. Please replace current for a newer. Thanks.

This is the screenshot of the details about the license registrarion. There is no single detail about including the com.Company. prefix.

As you can see from the screenshot you have shared, we provide the notice in red and bold letters. Also, app ID policies are already shared as a link since it is too long to describe all in the same page. 

 

If we change the app ID from our server, some unexpected bugs might occur, that is why we do not allow users to change the app ID.

The only way we can support you is to provide one complimentary Pro-One time fee license for your next development.

I appreciate your attention Stella, I'm really interested in developing my project with your SDK, however I will not spend more money on additional licenses. I've already bought the Pro One Time License, and I hope you can respect that previous purchase, especially since the error was derived from the registration. This could be prevented if the fields in the form should only permit to enter the specified format or with any other method. What I'm trying to say is that my case is proving that user experience purchase is not enough clear! Sorry for being little bit unflexible but I cannot affoard another license.

I do understand your point and appreciate your feedback, however, your mistake (I assume that there was no technical error) was derived from the registration even though we informed clearly in red and bold. Due to the characteristic of app ID - that it has various formats and difficult to track all released app if the app ID is taken or not for iOS, Android, or others - it is impossible to check and inform you the possibilities automatically. Creating an app ID is different from making a new simple ID for the webpage.

Hence, all our clients are already aware that app ID should be set very carefully.
As I already suggested, I can offer you a free Pro-One time fee license for your next development since I try my utmost to be flexible and developer-friendly for your bigger satisfaction.

I do appreciate your generous understanding and agreement on our offer. You can purchase one Pro-One time fee license for your current project, and let us know whenever you need for the next one. 

We can issue one upon your request, however, as Pro-One time fee is not available to update SDK, I suggest getting when you need it - maybe there will be an update and you have more options to choose SDK version. (FYI, for the current plan, we are planning to update MAXST AR SDK prob v.5.0 end of August or September.)
