I am finding a strange behaviour in your SDK, I think it's a bug. When a user walks inside a room with the AR scene loaded and spends some time wandering around the room before actually pointing to the SLAM object/area, the SLAM object does not get detected at all. If the user points directly to the SLAM target immediately after the scene is loaded, the SLAM object is recognised immediately.

The behaviour seems to occur only if the user starts scanning other parts of the room which are not the actual target. In that case, no matter how hard the user tries, the target will not be recognised. If the scene (in the app) is restarted, then the SLAM object is recognised.

Is this a known bug? If so, is there some fix you could suggest? In my app the users have to look around the room to discover which objects they have to interact with, so this is happening quite often. I think that somehow the SLAM recognition algorithm is getting confused if it accumulates too much data? Is that even possible? Or perhaps there is a timeout of sorts?

Hello marvin.

I reproduced the situation you told me. Instead of looking at the object immediately with the camera, I walked around the room and saw the object. However, it seems to recognize the object normally. If you upload a video of what you've been talking about, it will be easier to identify the problem.

Thank you.
