Account

I did not receive an account verification email. What should I do?

Please check your spam mailbox first. An account verification email is valid only for 24 hours. In case you haven't received one or the verification link has expired, please mail us at here.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

You can reset your password by clicking the link under 'Forgot your Password?' at the bottom of the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account at Settings. First you need to log in. Please note that along with the cancellation procedure, all the information including histories of license purchases and app registration is deleted.

I want to download MAXST AR SDK. What should I do?

MAXST AR SDK is always free to download at Download > SDK. Choose one that best fits your need between Android native SDK, iOS native SDK, and Unity package SDK.

What is the difference between the Demo App and the Map Manager App?

The Demo App is designed for developers who want to check the capabilities and performance of MAXST AR SDK before they start to build their own apps using it.

The Map Manager App is needed for Visual Slam plus Object Tracker function in MAXST AR SDK. Using it, you can build a map of target 3D space and send out the result by e-mail.

Purchase / Payment

Can I pay by other means than PayPal?

The payment can also be made through bank transfer, for which you should contact us by e-mail. Credit card and check card payment options are in preparation.

Can I get a discount on volume purchases?

The Volume License comes in a variety of discount rates depending on purchase volume. Please contact us by e-mail.

SDK License

What is the difference between the Free License and the Pro License?

Both the Free License and the Pro License include same features. You can use the Free License with a watermark for a non-profit project.

Is there a One-time-fee License instead of a subscription?

Please note that the one-time-fee Pro License does not include SDK upgrades (version update). SDK upgrades (e.g. SDK 3 – SDK 3.1) require purchase of a new SDK PRO license. However, a bug fix release (for example 3.0.x) is still included.

How many apps can I develop with one license?

The Pro License is for one application/bundle ID, which means you can share the license between iOS and Android.
One license is enough if you're developing one application for both GooglePlay and App Store.

Cloud License

How is the number of recognition calculated?

It is calculated as the total number of attempts to recognize, regardless of whether it was successful or not.

What if I need more recognition times than purchased licenses?

License Manager allows you to purchase an additional number of recognition in 10,000 units. The number of additional recognition times will be applied during the month, and will not be carried over to the next month.

What happens if the recognition count is exceeded?

If the available number of recognition remains below 20%, you will receive an additional notification message asking you to add the recognition times.
If you exhausted the available recognition times without adding the number of recognition, the recognition function will not be activated for the month.

How are SDK licenses different from Cloud licenses?

SDK license is a license that issues the keys required to deploy the augmented reality software created with MAXST AR SDK. Cloud license is a license to issue the keys required to use the cloud recognition feature built into MAXST AR SDK, which is a separate purchase.

Can I use the trial cloud license regardless of the duration of the SDK free license?

Trial cloud licenses are automatically deleted after one month of free trial, and the target group linked with that license will also be deleted one month after the expiration.
You can only use this trial once per account, and you will need to purchase the Pro or Enterprise licenses if you want to continue to use the cloud recognition feature.
